We are proud to be affiliated with three of our local cemeteries; Mount Angeles Memorial Park in Port Angeles and Sequim View and Dungeness cemeteries in Sequim. At Sequim Valley Funeral Chapel we have cemetery staff on hand to help you with your cemetery needs as well. Our full-service funeral home is conveniently located in the heart of downtown Sequim.

I would like to personally thank you for hosting the Toys for Tots Santa event each year. This is such an important community event that so many local families have grown to depend on. It is such a relaxed atmosphere and really allows children to sit and enjoy time with friends and family while supporting a great cause! I wish I could attach some amazing pictures! Sequim Valley Funeral Chapel has been a great supporter of our community in many ways. One of my personal favorites is the Toys For Tots drive they sponsor every year. For many consecutive years they have opened their doors for community members to come see Santa and enjoy hot cocoa while they decorate cookies. At the same time they raise funds and collect toys for community members in need. Thank you for hosting this special event every year.read more

I would recommend this funeral home to anyone I know. We lost our baby at 35 weeks and they did more for us than we could have asked for. We are currently designing his headstone with them and they are so patient and are letting us be as picky as we want to make it perfect. The staff is always so nice and welcoming. No one ever wants to plan a funeral but to have to plan one for a baby, there are no words to describe the pain and sadness. We Lost our grandson, who was too perfect for earth. I have the upmost respect for everyone that was involved in helping us at the funeral home. It can’t be an easy job but everyone went out of their way to comfort us and to help us in every way possible. They were all so kind and patient as we had to make decisions no one ever wants to have to make.read more

Having never done one of these before when my father passed away from ALS at the end of the year ... I can say we were very supported and taken care of through the entire process. The team was responsive, kind, understanding and made this difficult event as manageable as possible. Highly recommend them when this unavoidable part of life is on your doorstep. Also, very affordable. Not that we shopped around but ... we did not feel the prices were above what should be expected for the services provided.read more

When our son died in March 2020, we contacted Sequim Valley Funeral Chapel to help us make the arrangements involved in laying him to rest. This process was affected by the Covid-19 restrictions, making certain steps either not possible or greatly limited. Our funeral director, Erick Scheiderman was understanding and comforting as we worked together to make the best of our limited options. And the manager of Sequim View Cemetery, Emily Batton, was so kind and patient as we designed the headstone. I thank them for that, and I will never forget their kindness during that time. I unreservedly recommend them to anyone who is faced with handling the final arrangements of saying good-bye to a loved one.read more

I had to make arrangements long distance from CA for my dad's cremation and internment. Emily and Erick were very helpful in figuring out what to do during that painful time. They made it so I could be there to say goodbye to him after I was finally able to get to Port Angeles. I highly recommend them.read more
